The problem
Crew usually get their duty by email, PDF or WhatsApp. When a flight changes, they find out by phone, and the details — handler numbers, hotel, passengers, deferred defects — are spread across messages and attachments.
How BXI solves it
BXI Mobile connects each crew member to their airline's BXI instance. Everything they see comes from the same records ops use, so it is always current, and every change arrives as a push notification with the old and new values side by side.
Key capabilities
- Roster — month calendar with duty colours, day timeline of flights, hotels and transfers, export to the phone's calendar.
- Change alerts — push notification, old vs new values, one-tap acknowledge and full change history with author.
- Flight detail — times in UTC or local, block and flight time, METAR/TAF, handlers with tap-to-call, hotel, transfer, catering and GenDec.
- MEL and OCC tasks — active deferrals with days remaining, and tasks ops share with the crew.
- FTL — rest before and after duty, last 36h rest, cumulative duty and block hours against limits.
- Passengers and crew — full manifest with travel documents and a boarding "verified" check; crew list with tap-to-call.
- Cabin handover — cabin, galley and technical status and catering stock counts, with history per aircraft.
- Certificates and expiring items — colour-coded expiry, push reminders and document download.
- Logbook — duty and flight-time counters for 7 and 14 days, month, year and calendar year.
- Self-service — duty requests, voluntary fatigue reports, surveys, flight feedback and a company directory.
- Dark and light themes, cached roster when offline, secure per-airline login.
What it changes in your day
Crew stop asking ops for information ops has already entered. Ops stop phoning crew to confirm changes — the acknowledgement is in the system, with a timestamp.
Where BXI Mobile sits in BXI
BXI Mobile is included with BXI Platform and uses the same data and permissions. Crew Scheduling, FTL, Certifications, Passengers and Technical all appear in the app; changes made in the app — acknowledgements, passenger checks, handovers, requests — flow straight back to ops.
